Embodied Astrology
Personal Sessions:
a somatic approach to astrology.
I seek to honor and bridge the ancient storytelling that is the foundation of astrology with the often-wordless wisdom of the body,
Each session is crafted to the needs of the individual and oriented around present concerns. We may bring in movement, breath work, guided meditation, art making, vocal release and/or guided meditation, with the foundation always being a deep listening for your unique needs, situation and concerns.
60 minutes, 45.00. Sliding scale available, no one turned away due to lack of funds.

My blog: an ongoing translation of light and dark and all the in-betweens that being alive and human entails, with an emphasis on how to ground themes into helpful practices. Centered on but not exclusive to astrological content: I bring in threads from my art and music practice, yogic traditions, Insight meditation and Theravada Buddhism, literature, philosophy, mythology, various scientific disciplines and of course personal experiences.
“Kaitlin is a warm and welcoming presence who approaches every reading with utmost care. Her style is thoughtful and directive, while still leaving plenty of room for curiosity and exploration. Although astrology can sometimes feel esoteric, Kaitlin has a unique ability to make it accessible and easy to understand. Highly recommend!”
“As someone who has studied a fair amount of astrology, I had a reading that was an enlightening and inspiring experience. Kaitlin was incredibly knowledgeable, patiently taking the time to explain the intricacies of my natal chart and current transits. Her insights into my strengths and challenges were spot on, allowing me to gain a deeper understanding of myself and my life path. The reading felt personalized and intuitive, addressing my specific questions with clarity. I was impressed with the research she had done to prepare for the session, making me feel seen, heard, and genuinely respected. She was able to draw attention to aspects hidden from my perception and weave them wisely into concrete and spontaneous examples, clearly showing her comprehension, and passion for this psychological art.
From the moment the session began, it felt remarkably instinctive, as though Kaitlin had tapped into my essence and instantly understood my life’s complexities. Her insights were spot on, revealing patterns and themes that I had been wrestling with but hadn’t fully articulated. Kaitlin skillfully navigated through my chart, offering not just interpretations but practical advice that felt both resourceful and empowering. I left the session with a renewed sense of direction and lucidity, feeling as if I had gained a roadmap for my journey ahead. I highly recommend this experience for anyone seeking greater self-awareness and guidance!”
My astrology practice: always shifting.
I have vivid memories of staring up at the stars as a child and feeling an inexplicably strong desire to understand them. Later I realized this urge is perhaps one of the most universal human experiences, crossing the barriers of language and culture, age and belief system. I do not see astrology as a representation of what the stars (planets, moons, etc.) actually mean or are, but rather a system for molding and shaping the narratives that humanity generates in our continuous attempt to orient ourselves in the universe (or universes). My own relationship to astrology is a constantly shifting exploration, often informed by and merged with my other equally essential practices: art making, music, meditation, yoga, environmental and social justice, as well as the deeply private and personal rituals I cultivate to give a sense of tangibility to my spirituality. Astrology is one way of connecting to an ancient ecology of narratives that can offer a renewal of perspective, or perhaps a remembering of what we’ve forgotten.
My longtime practice of Insight Meditation, informed by Theravada Buddhism, and my 15 years of yogic practice and teaching weave through my approach to translating the stars, in addition to the lifelong journey of being an artist and musician. In my own daily life and with my clients, I support a consideration for the body and its role in all our emotional and psychological processes and explorations. I also maintain that identity and meaning are fluid and perhaps even empty in the sense that not one identity or narrative is the ultimate truth. Yet life on earth, as a human at least, necessitates moving within stories and declaring ourselves (who we are, what we are, what we believe). Astrology has helped me do this without abandoning what feels authentic to my most personal experiences, while supporting a deepening of connection to the ancient, still so mysterious turnings of the elements, the universe, the wild, inside and all around.
